Who is collecting the information?

Rose Dippnall will be what is known as the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you, the client, provide.

What information is being collected?

Unless otherwise agreed with you only basic personal data about you and your child will be collected. This information includes (as appropriate):
  • your name
  • home address
  • email address
  • bank details
  • your child’s date of birth
  • your child’s current school

How is it collected?

The information will be collected in a couple of ways: face-to-face via Contact Forms or through emails. All information provided will be treated with the utmost care and will be carefully protected.

Why is it being collected?

I need to collect your basic personal data in order to give you the best service I can to run my piano studio. I also need it in order to assert my right to be recompensed in return for these services as per the agreement I have with you. I will not collect any unnecessary personal data from you that I do not need to run my piano school.

When will I share your data?

I’ll sometimes need to share certain parts of your information with third party organisations. This might include exam boards (ABRSM, Trinity College, London etc.), festival organisers, email service providers or online survey providers. I will not share your data with any other party, such as an app, without first obtaining your permission. Furthermore, I will provide only the information they need to perform their specific service.

How long will I keep your data for?

Data will be maintained for as long as you are a client of mine. Once this relationship ceases your information will be archived and kept for at least 6 years.

What are your rights regarding your data?

You have the right to request access to all the data I hold about you at any point.

What else will I to do with it?

I would like to send you information about my services, by telephone, email and SMS.
